Anything under 50cc can be operated with a regular Class D license. If it has a larger engine you will need an M endorsement for motorcycle.

I just replaced the brake shoes on my rear drum brake of my 2009 honda ruckus scooter. But for some reason when I apply the brake they squeak

I’ve had that happen with drum brakes. Generally it stops after the shoes seat. If it doesn’t, you may need to have the shoes ground to match the diameter of the drum.
