What is considered high odometer mileage on a 50cc scooter?
Zuma Scooter question by brrian1966: What is considered high odometer mileage on a 50cc scooter?
I’m considering the purchase of a 2005 Yamaha Zuma scooter with 6000 miles for $ 500. Is this a lot of miles? How far can you drive one of these before major maintenance issues come up?

Typically a well maintained 2 stroke, that hasn’t been run w/o 2stroke oil, is good for about 30,000 miles. Given that it’s a Yamaha, probably a few more over that. ![]()
$ 500 is a steal if it hasn’t been beat to hell.

i want to sell my Yamaha Zuma scooter?
Zuma Scooter question by HamsterWheel: i want to sell my Yamaha Zuma scooter?
i have a 50cc Yamaha brand scooter with an upgrade exhaust…it’ll travel up to 50mph. I listed it on Craigslist, but i’m really looking to find a more substantially quicker and certain buyers….ie: a motorcycle shop. I’m willing to sell for less than the $ 1400 it was posted as long as i can do it with a week…which is my move out date. Any suggestions out there will be helpful.
i live in Duluth, GA

The only thing I can suggest would be to try autotrader, or a local newspaper may run a special in the newspaper and online. It sounds nice, and I would consider it personally, but I’m in Ohio. I hope you get it sold. skp
